Construction to begin on Main Street

Downtown Cheboygan has been chosen by the Michigan Department of Transportation to receive a complete rebuilding of Main Street Spring 2009.  The project entails: 

• Complete reconstruction including new curb, gutters, and sidewalk
• Replacing and upgrading the storm sewer system
• Replacing and upgrading the water main system
• Upgrading traffic signals at Division Street & State Street

Construction is scheduled to begin on April 20, 2009.  Keep checking this website for more details.
